1. Install Wine

2. Download Internet Explorer 8 installer
Download file “windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu c81472f7eeea2eca421e116cd4c03e2300ebfde4.exe” (316.4 MB)
3. Optional: Download .NET Framework 4.0 installer
Download file “dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe” (48.1 MB)
4.- Optional: Download Microsoft Silverlight installer
Download file “Silverlight.exe”

5.- Install Internet Explorer from Wine
Right click on installer file and select “Open with Wine Windows Program…”.
6.- Optional: Install .NET Framework 4.0
