Applications to extract audio from a video file.

Available for Windows. It can be installed directly from Microsoft Store.
Add video to list.
Select output file.
Click on play icon to start convertion process.
VLC Media Player
VLC Media Player can be downloaded from this link.
Available for different operating systems.
It is not my favourite option as I found that it crashes or stop conversion before finishing without warning user about the error.
Go to menu bar > “Convert”, select Profile “Audio – MP3”, select output folder and then click on Start.

As a contribution, I’ve been using Audacity, it’s free, works quite well and quickly. It’s a question of getting used to the interface.
