Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework is the counterpart of AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure

Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure provides proven guidance and best practices that help you confidently adopt the cloud and achieve business outcomes.

This framework introduces to the concept of Azure landing zone.

Connectivity

VNet is a Microsoft VLAN that includes Azure components.

Azure ExpressRoute is a service that creates private connections between on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft cloud services.

It works at OSI layer level 3, using MPLS or dedicated fiber. It is used to bypass the public internet.

Azure PrivateLink is a service where all endpoints are private and the traffic stays on the Microsoft backbone within the VNet.
