Anthony Triangle
The Anthony triangle takes a hierarchical view of management structure with the following levels:
- Strategic
- Tactical
- Operational
- Data transactions/Operations
Information-based Organization
Peter Drucker developed the concept of information-based organization on the chapter “The information-based organization” of his book “Realities” (1989).
It proposes some measures compared to a traditional organization:
- Reduce the number of hierarchical levels.
- Reduce the number of managers to a third.
- It takes an orchestra as a model of knowledge-driven organization in which specialist interact.

Bureaucracy is based on Max Weber’s bureaucracy theory.

New Public Management
New Public Management (NPM) was created between the 1980s and 1990s to solve some bureaucracy issues like inflexibility.

- Promotes eficiency, decentralization, competence and result-oriented
