The European Interoperability Framework (EAF) is a set of recommendations for interoperability within the European Union.
Regulation (UE) 2015/1501 defines some technical aspects on dentification in the context of EU interoperability.
The article 9.3 establishes that an eIDAS node operator shall store data which, in the event of an incident, enable reconstruction of the sequence of the message exchange containing at least this information:
- node’s identification
- message identification
- message date and time
